The white lining is 100 % silk, it has a pomade guard inside and a sweat band.
All of these parts can be replaced.
It comes with a gorgeous box.
You might wonder what a beaver hat is.
It's a very high grade hat, actually higher than a rabbit felt hat, and very light.
Beaver fur has very soft part inside underneath the hard part on the surface.
When the soft fur is pressed with steam, it's tangled each other and becomes fine felt.
Beaver hats were very popular in Europe although they are not well known here in Japan.
JOHN G is in bowler hat style at the beginning.
You can enjoy the first style, then make your own style by yourself.
If you don't like the shape you made, you can give some steam with a steamed iron,
pull it then it comes back to the original style almost, which is the character of beaver felt.
