This military watches were special waterproof watches, which were created for
US Navy SEALs Under water Demolition Team (UDT) in 1940's to 1950's.
Hamilton company and ELGIN were making them at that time.
UDT was meant to get rid of underwater mines, so the watches they wore needed
to have a powerful waterproof function.
Its winding knob is protected by a big cap with packing, which is the characteristic part of this watch.
The punch mark on the back of the dial "BUSHIPS" stands for Buireau of Ships.
It's a very special product from Buzz Rickson's.
